Madhya Pradesh school education department is thinking over setting up 3000 smart classrooms in the government schools.
According to the proposal drafted by the Rajya Shiksha Kendra, Bhopal, each district should have a minimum of 30 smart classrooms.
Once the proposal gets approval, an interactive training programme for govt. school teachers will be conducted to introduce smart class technology to them.
MP RTE nodal officer KPS Tomar said that smart classroom is really good for quality improvement via technology and are looking forward to go for more such classes.
The main aim of this move is to provide effective and interactive teaching to students as technology-driven teaching methods makes the learning more interesting. If this proposal gets approval from the government then every smart classroom will have computers, a smart board and projector.
According to this, Teachers and students will get tablets having the complete course list. In addition to this, it will also have mathematical games and puzzles to engage students.
