Indian Prime Minister, Sri Narendra Modi, launched 14 Smart City projects in 20 cities across the country from Pune, on Sunday. He also initiated 69 other works to be carried out in other Smart Cities of the country.

PM Modi had asked the people of India to consider urbanisation as an opportunity to mitigate poverty.

"There was a time in our country when urbanisation was considered a big problem. But, I feel differently. We should not consider urbanisation as a problem, but consider it as an opportunity," he said addressing a gathering in Pune.
