Promoted by the Jaipuria Charitable Trust/Seth Anand Ram Jaipuria Education Society, the school’s foundation stone was laid by late prime minister Indira Gandhi on September 13, 1966 and the school started functioning after inauguration by late President Dr. Fakhuruddin Ali Ahmad on October 26, 1974.
