Google has announced new teaching tools this week as part of expanding it's presence in classrooms. The internet giant has also upgraded capabilities of its existing tools.
The most notable tools released includes the Expeditions App working in conjunction with the Google Cardboard platform. This app allows to choose from more than 200 virtual reality expeditions. Cast for Education, which lets students to share their screen wirelessly to the teacher's computer and a connected projector is another tool. There is also a new feature called Quizzes integrated into the Google Forms, which has auto-grading capabilities for correcting multiple choice and check box questions.
Google also announced three new creative apps for Chromebooks, Explain Everything, Soundtrap and WeVideo.
"We've worked closely with our partners to offer these apps to schools at a special price when all three apps are purchased together," a Google statement said.
