Google.Org to Spend $50M for Education and Technology

Google.org announced a commitment of spending $50M for two years to support tech-based learning solutions.

This fund will support non-profit organizations to tackle a large number of challenges. It also included educational material, barriers to learning outside the classroom and under resourced teachers, but with limited access.

At starting, 9 organizations will receive this fund; another set of organization will be added later in the end of 2017.
Priority areas could develop over the next two years, said Google.org.

Google.Org to Spend $50M for Education and Technology 
In addition to this, Google employees will be providing volunteer assistance in some areas such as offline functionality, translation, user experience design and data analytics.

Google.org also announces to grant $1M for the refugee children’s education in Lebanon.
