Tribal Language Textbooks Soon to be Available in Central E-Library

Class 1 and 2 students can make avail of textbooks in Jharkhand’s tribal languages, as they will soon be made available on the Central Government’s e-library platform, according to reports from the Jharkhand’s School Education And Literacy Department. Jharkhand’s 3.29 crore population, around 26% are constituted by the tribals.

This e-library, which was launched under the Centre’s Digital India Mission, already has NCERT and CBSE textbooks for students from classes 1 to 12. The motive behind setting up the e-library was to ensure the availability of digitised textbooks for the school students.
