While most of the teachers follow the standard teaching method spending long hours in classroom, a social studies teacher- Doug Kirchner spent this recent Friday travelling the whole world.
Kirchner, an educator in the Upper St. Clair School District, was one amid 24 social studies teachers who attended the training at Allegheny Intermediate Unit in Homestead. This training introduced teachers with a range of virtual reality tools to make use in classrooms.
